In alignment with the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) initiative, “The Next Generation Student Dormitory
Living Environment Improvement Project,” National Taiwan Normal University has submitted an application
to the MOE to enhance student accommodation quality. The application has been approved and subsidized by

◆ Construction Period: Expected from December 2024 to August 2026, Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
◆ Construction Scope: Common areas from the 2nd to the 18th floor of Residence Hall F&G, including lounges, reading rooms, laundry rooms, simple kitchens, storage rooms, balconies, dormitory corridors, and all spaces on the 1st floor excluding public toilets and retail spaces.
◆ Notes:
1. The comprehensive improvement project for the common areas of Residence Hall F&G is scheduled to take place from December 2024 to August 2026. During the construction period, there will be dust and noise affecting dormitory life. We kindly expect students applying for accommodation could have more empathy and understanding during this improvement project construction period.
2. The construction area does not include dormitory rooms, but the improvements to dormitory corridors are scheduled for the summers of 2025 and 2026. During corridor construction, dormitory room doors will need to remain open for approximately 3 to 7 days due to floor interface adjustments. During this time, summer residents of Residence Hall F&G will need to temporarily relocate to other dormitories or the rooms on the unconstructed floors of Residence Hall F&G until the corridor works are completed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
3. The comprehensive improvement project for the common areas of Residence Hall F&G will be carried out in phases and on a floor-by-floor basis. Notices will be provided when the construction work reaches specific floors. During construction, to avoid risks to the residents, the equipment in the public areas of that floor (e.g., washing machines, dryers, laundry rooms, heaters in simple kitchens, etc.) will not be available for use. Please use facilities on other floors.
4. During construction, one elevator will be designated for construction use only. Residents are advised not to use it.
Changes will bring about differences. The school understands that this project will bring inconvenience to everyone’s daily life. However, we look forward to transforming dormitories into more than just living spaces but also into functional spaces integrated with learning, peer interaction, and creativity. We aim to create dormitories that facilitate educational atmosphere transformation and group interaction for the next generation of students.
